Who Are We

Launched in 2017, our founders wanted to offer a smarter lawn care experience — for people and the environment. So they developed the first-of-its-kind, emissions-free robotic mowing service.

Since then, we’ve expanded throughout the U.S. to provide more and more customers with our innovative service and unique subscription-based model.

Our Mission

The Robin Autopilot mission is to make lawn care eco-friendly and reliable while improving the health and appearance of commercial and consumer lawns using the power of autonomous lawnmowers.

By enabling its member companies to provide a 5-star customer experience and an innovative alternative to their traditional lawncare , we’re empowering businesses powered by Robin to become more profitable, competitive and sustainable in the long term.

Our Model

We offer subscribers a customized subscription-based platform for running a robot service business. Based on their subscription level, we’ll provide tiered access to proprietary products (software, operating manual, robotic door for homes with fences, and more) and non-proprietary products (marketing program, training and support, financing for robots and doors). It’s everything you need to effectively manage this innovative service.

Head of Sales and Support

10 years of experience in equipment sales, including 5 years in robotic sales, installation and support at Husqvarna working with dealers and landscapers.

36+ years of experience in the computer industry and co-founder and CTO of a software company with a successful exit.

Eddie Shaw

Head of Software Engineering

Over 30 years of experience in software engineering including the design, development and implementation of end-to-end application solutions leveraging multi-tiered architecture for redundancy, scalability, and performance.

Board Member and Investor

Steve is Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for Husqvarna Group. Strategist and team builder with expertise in growth strategy, organizational change, retail design, construction management, and program/project leadership.

David Melbourne


40+ years in electrical engineering. Worked on very first microprocessor-based Word processors at Uni of Berkshire & in the US for the Tandy Corporation.

Lisa Fiore

Board Member

Lisa is Founder & CEO of LandscapeHub, a B2B online marketplace she created in July 2017. Lisa was previously President of Fiore Landscape and Nursery Supply (FLNS), which grew in revenue and expanded to multiple locations under her leadership.

Ellen Bruno

Head of Operations

Ellen brings over 25 years of practical experience in multiple industries including professional services, retail management and administration.

Joe Paul

Board Member

Paul has more than 30 years of financial experience. He joined Davey Tree as treasurer in 2005 and has been CFO of the company since 2013.

Bart Lomont


Military veteran, entrepreneur, and an original co-founder of Robin Technologies (predecessor to Robin Autopilot). Worked in policy and leadership roles for two previous governors of Indiana.

Jonathan Pototschnik

Board Member

Jonathan owns a lawn maintenance company that has over 9,300 full-service residential and commercial clients. Jonathan also is co-founder of Service Autopilot, a leading business automation and scheduling software solution that serves more than 4,400 companies.
